How CNC machined components are manufactured ?
Computer Numerical Control is an advanced manufacturing process which enables a machine to remove material from a block of metal and produce the part using various processes. CNC Machining operates on a large number of materials giving you the option of choosing a material for your specific requirement.
Contact support@custiv.com for help in choosing the right material for your application. CNC Machining process starts with an engineer generating the machine code from your CAD file, called the G Code, using a CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software. This machine code contains instructions which controls the machines movement and information about the tools required to machine your specific component and process specific information like the speed of the tool and feed rate. Once the G Code is generated and tested, the code can be used to produce thousands of parts.
